The current band fee is $500. Students have the option of paying in full or paying in 4 installments of $125 each.

The payment schedule is as follows:

$125 - Due during the first band camp - Week of June 8th, 2009
$125 - Due during the second band camp - Week of July 20th, 2009
$125 - Due during the third band camp - Week of August 10th, 2009
$125 - Due September 1, 2009

For those students that join Band during the first week of school the fee is the same, $500.  Those students have the option of paying in full or making 4 installments of $125 each on the following dates:

$125 - Due September 1, 2009
$125 - Due September 15, 2009
$125 - Due October 1, 2009
$125 - Due October 15, 2009

Students can pay via Check, Money Order or Cash. Checks and Money Orders should be made out WBHSBPA.

Students should put their payments in an envelope and dropped the envelope in the safe located in the band room.  There is box of envelopes on top of the safe.  Please print the student name on the envelope.

Personal items required to participate:
Black, round neck, Under Armor $11  (purchased in WBHS Music Store)
Black Viper Marching Shoes $35 (purchased in WBHS Music Store)
3 pairs of black socks (cotton)
Black marching gloves (Mr. Parsons provided the first pair)
Flip folder  and lyre (local music stores)
Marching Duffle Bag  $25 (purchased in WBHS Music Store)

Money for these items will not be put in the safe.  Mrs. Hauck will collect the money and give the items or items. (please do not include with fees)

Good news, these items can last for four years.

Friday Games in general

3-4    Practice after school
4-5    Bag dinner (individual parents can bring) or go home and return

meals are NOT provided

5:00-5:30         Dress for performance
5:30 -5:45        Inspection (making sure everyone is in the correct uniform)
5:45- 6 00        Load Bus ( all students ride to and from the game on the bus)
7:00                 Game Starts (this year all games are away)
9:00                 Approximate time the game ends
10:00               Return to school (students may leave after they put equipment away)
                        Please do not park in the front drop-off lane.

“Custom” but not a part of the band program.  Students and Parents go out after the game to a local eatery.  The students sit together and the parents sit together and enjoy.  This is by all means not a sanctioned part of the program.  It is under the discretion of the individual parents. Students will not supervised or provided with rides.

Competitions (Saturdays)
The students will be involved the whole day.

A.Three hour practice in the morning at the school
B. Students are to go home and take a shower and eat
C. Students return to school depending on the performance time.   
D. They change into uniform and are inspected
E. They take the bus to the competition site
F. They perform and then watch the other bands perform
G. Retreat is when awards are presented
